It is refreshing to see more and more mainstream figures choosing to get inked permanently, as this signals the mind shift towards tattoos finally happening with the Indian society. And extending his love for tattoos, the poster boy of Indian football, Robin Singh has just got inked for the seventh time. The Indian forward is heavily tattooed, and has just added another artwork to his collection so far.
For those who are unfamiliar with new school tattooing, this style essentially originates from old school American tattooing, and is made out by bold outlines, vivid colouring and exaggerated subjects.
For his latest tattoo, as you can see, Robin has opted to go for colourful new school forearm piece. The blues look as rich as the Indian jersey on his skin, and we only hope that keeps getting inked. What we admired most about Robin Singh, the tattoo collector, is his friendship and camaraderie with his artist, Alex Shimray. While we couldn’t reach Robin for a statement, but from his Instagram, we could make out that Alex has worked on at least 3 of his tattoos.

Alex is one of the foremost artists of the country, and he works out of Devil’z Tattooz in New Delhi, and has been tattooing Robin for sometime now.
